Bryce BakerBryce Baker is the Deputy Chief of the Palatine Police Department where he has served for 27 years. Bryce was assigned to full-time truck enforcement for eleven years and has specialized in commercial vehicle enforcement for 19 years total. In 2009, Bryce founded the Illinois Truck Enforcement Association, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit and served as its Executive Director until 2016. The ITEA now trains and resources more than 600 members from both law enforcement and the carrier industry. In 2006, Bryce earned his Class-A CDL after learning to drive on a lowboy, hauling oversize/overweight permit loads. Bryce is an Executive Board member of the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, and an active committee member of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association and the Mid-west Truckers Association.
