TED MEYERS

Board Member

Ted is a founding partner of Meyers & Flowers, LLC, a nationally respected litigation firm in Chicago, Illinois. While the firm concentrates in product liability and personal injury law, Ted’s practice is primarily focused on advising businesses and estate and tax planning. Ted is a serial entrepreneur and investor and has been instrumental in the development of successful businesses, including software, real estate, packaging and medical device companies. As a former computer programmer, Ted has a keen interest in software technology companies. In 2008, Ted joined the board of Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc (“IMO”), a software company specializing in standardizing medical vocabularies. In 2016, IMO was sold to one of the largest private equity companies in the United States.

TRACI GERTH

Board Member

Traci has a long career in the media, broadband and technology. She has held leadership roles in business operations, sales, and marketing, primarily in B2B environments. Traci’s in-depth expertise is in defining growth strategies, implementing operational standards, new market development and effectively scaling businesses.

Currently, Traci is the SVP Operations and Customer Experience for SONIFI Solutions, a technology provider in the hospitality and healthcare industries. She was President of the Women in Cable and Telecom nonprofit board, consisting of 24 board members service 400+ constituents.

BRANDON CADY

Board Member

Brandon Cady is an Operating Partner with The Vistria Group, a private investment firm based in Chicago. In his role at Vistria, Brandon serves as an executive advisor to many companies within the firm’s healthcare portfolio. He also works closely with the investment team to identify, evaluate and execute acquisitions of market-leading healthcare companies. Vistria manages more than $6.5 billion in institutional capital across its funds and co-investment vehicles.

Prior to joining Vistria, Brandon was the President and Chief Executive Officer of AIM Specialty Health® also based in Chicago. Brandon served as the AIM CEO from 2008 to 2021, leading the company’s growth and platform expansion to serve 60 million insured lives across the country. Brandon also served as a Senior Vice President within Anthem® helping develop the Diversified Business Group and leading the successful launch and commercialization of the “HealthGuide” business to external payor customers.

Throughout his 23+ year career, Brandon has held a variety of leadership positions within hospital systems (University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Great River Health System), health plans (Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, HCSC/BCBS) and technology companies (AIM Specialty Health, Planlinx).

Brandon earned a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Iowa.

LAURA SANFILIPPO

Board Member

Laura spent the early part of her 17-year career at John B. Sanfilippo and Son, Inc. developing solutions and supporting business opportunities. Laura contributed to the company’s increased development and expansion efforts, growing markets both domestically and internationally. Her passion for philanthropy is evident with her work related to Michael Joseph Foundation providing shelter for families in transition.
